  • However, your local database (stored on your local computer or server) is your responsibility to protect. SMRT Systems is not liable for any loss, tampering, or corruption that occurs on your local hardware.

  • We strongly recommend regular backups and system protection to ensure data integrity.

5. Payment and Card Security
All credit and debit card information processed through SMRT Lite is handled in accordance with global PCI-DSS standards and local banking regulations.

  • All card data is fully encrypted and securely tokenized through our payment gateway.

  • Neither SMRT Systems nor your business has access to full card numbers, expiry dates, or CVV codes.

  • Transaction records and tokens are stored securely in the payment gateway’s portal, governed by the banking policies of your respective country.

  • This ensures that sensitive financial data remains protected, untraceable, and outside the scope of human access.

6. Security of Your Data
We maintain strict security standards, including:

  • AES-256 encryption for all stored and transmitted data.

  • Firewall protection and access logging.

  • Regular audits and vulnerability assessments.

  • Role-based access within our system to minimize exposure.

While we employ robust safeguards, we cannot control your local system environment. You are responsible for maintaining security on local devices using antivirus, firewalls, and backups.
